Caring for your Bloom Bakery Cake & Cupcakes

Thank you for choosing Bloom Bakery to be part of your celebration. Every cake and cupcake bouquet is handcrafted with care and decorated with delicate buttercream flowers. Following these simple guidelines will help ensure your desserts look and taste their very best.

Before Serving

For the best flavor and texture, allow your cake or cupcakes to come to room temperature before serving.

Approximate times:

  • Cupcakes: 30–45 minutes

  • 4” & 6” cakes: 1–2 hours

  • 8” cakes: 2–3 hours

  • Tiered cakes: 4-6 hours

Buttercream becomes soft and creamy at room temperature, allowing the cake and fillings to fully develop their flavor.

Keep Cool

Buttercream is happiest in a cool environment.

  • Keep refrigerated until it’s time to start room temping.

  • Avoid direct sunlight.

  • Do not leave your cake outdoors or in a warm vehicle.

  • If serving outside, keep the cake shaded whenever possible.

Transport

Always transport your cake on a flat, level surface, such as the floorboard or cargo area of your vehicle.

Avoid placing cakes on seats where they can slide or tilt. Bloom Bakery is not responsible for cakes that got ruined in transport.

Storing Leftovers

Cover any remaining cake and refrigerate for up to 5 days.

Cupcakes are best enjoyed within 3–4 days.

Before enjoying leftovers, allow them to return to room temperature for the best flavor and texture.

Freezing

Cake slices or cupcakes may be frozen for up to 2 months.

Wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then place in an airtight container. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before bringing to room temperature.

A Gentle Reminder

Our buttercream flowers are handcrafted and delicate. Handle your cake with care, and avoid touching or moving the flowers before serving.

Enjoy Every Bloom

Every Bloom Bakery dessert is thoughtfully designed to celebrate life’s meaningful moments. We hope your cake brings as much joy to your celebration as it brought us to create it.
